Today marks the inauguration of the new TODA Multipurpose Building for the Socorro Tricycle Operators Driver Association (TODA), an important project donated by Governor Humerlito “Bonz†Dolor aimed at providing comfort for the members of the TODA sector in the town.
Simultaneously, the adjacent tricycle terminal, a project of the Municipal Government of Socorro, was also inaugurated.
Likewise, Socorro’s Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) vehicles funded by Socorro LGU and the ambulance donated to their town by the National Government were blessed by Rev. Fr. Luis Arnel S. Santiago, together with Rev. Dr. Raymund Tuvera who led the prayer.
Gov. Dolor was represented by First District Board Member Ryan Arago, who conveyed the Governor’s full support to the Municipal Government and to the people of Socorro.
Socorro Mayor Nemmen O. Perez also expressed her wholehearted gratitude to Gov. Dolor for the project dedicated to provide a proper place for TODA members.
This also aligns with the grand terminal project, which is an initiative of Socorro Municipal Government.
Mayor Perez also mentioned the planned implementation of a systematic operation management for their terminal through the support of the Sangguniang Bayan.
On behalf of their organization, TODA Federation President Ariel Dimaano also delivered a sincere appreciation to these projects given to them.
Meanwhile, the inauguration was witnessed by Vice Mayor Kenneth P. Tolentino, Sangguniang Bayan Member and Committee on Transportation Chairperson Ryan Magtibay, and the heads and employees of the offices of the Municipal Government.
