New administrative building of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) at Calapan City District Jail in Barangay Sapul, was officially launched.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Governor Humerlitoâ€Bonz A. Dolor joined by Acting District Jail Warden JSINSP Rodante P. Cayabyab, BJMP MIMAROPA Assistant Regional Director for Operations JSSUPT Ray L. De Luna, and BJMP Provincial Administrator JSINSP Nelmar M. Malimata.
The new facility was offered by the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro to BJMP aiming to improve the condition of the inmates by providing additional facilities to support the operations of Calapan City District Jail.
Governor Bonz emphasized, “The effort and cooperation between the Provincial Government and BJMP in the reformation and improvement of our inmates is a crusade, a mission and a shared vocation. Beyond the structure itself, it is the spirit of unity that will help our fellow Mindoreños.â€
The BJMP expressed its gratitude to the Provincial Government for the continued support that enables more efficient management of the Calapan City District Jail.
