As part of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Summit Celebration, Governor Humerlito “Bonz†A. Dolor welcomed and honored the DRRM Officers from MIMAROPA during Governor’s Night, on Thursday 17 September at the Bulwagang Panlalawigan within the Provincial Capitol Complex.
The event, themed “white partyâ€, was led by the Provincial DRRM Office headed by Provincial DRRM Officer Vinscent Gahol and his team.
Marc Rembrandt P. Victore, OIC of Office of Civil Defense MIMAROPA and Acting Chairperson of Regional DRRMC, expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Governor and Provincial Government for the warm welcome and continuous support to the DRRMC programs in the region.
In his message, Governor Dolor conveyed his heartfelt appreciation for the dedication of the DRRM officers and their tireless service, especially during calamities, which he described as a challenging but vital task.
As a symbol of gratitude, unity, and prayer for those behind MIMAROPA’s DRRM efforts, the Governor led three toasts followed by a performance from the ORMECO Band.
First Lady Hiyas G. Dolor also joined in the event, and shared her support to the DRRM community.
