PGOM joins the Nationwide Service Caravan

Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro (PGOM) led by Governor Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor, participated in the Nationwide Culminating Event of the National Government’s Service Caravan held at Bulawagang Panlalawigan, Calapan City.

Various government services were rendered simultaneously in different parts of the country on 13 September as part of the 68th birthday celebration of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Governor Bonz expressed his sincerest gratitude to President Marcos and the National Government for the continued provision of relevant programs and assistance for the people of Mindoro.

He also proudly emphasized that Oriental Mindoro has the largest allocation of the Php 20.00 per kilo of rice for sale in the entire country, facilitated by PGOM.

As a representative of the President, DOH Undersecretary Atty. Randy B. Escolango extended his appreciation to PGOM and all National Government Agencies (NGAs) in MIMAROPA that participated in the said Caravan.

Meanwhile, USEC Escolango and Gov. Bonz, along with the Regional Directors of NGAs, led the provision of livelihood assistance to farmers and fishermen, educational assistance to students, and other benefits for selected sectors.

Vice-Governor Antonio “Jojo” S. Perez, Jr., Board Member Ryan Arago, and Board Member and PCL President Marion Marcos also participated in the activity.

Among the agencies that provided services were DTI, DOLE, CHED, DA, BFAR, DOH, TESDA, DICT, PSA, DSWD, SSS, Pag-ibig Fund, DENR, and Philhealth, and was supported by all PGOM departments.

Through this Service Caravan, the Government reaffirmed its goal to bring programs and services closer to the citizens that can help in improving the quality of life of every Filipino.
