Governor Humerlito “Bonz†A. Dolor, along with Provincial Engineer Edylou B. Tejido, led the inspection of a Flood Control Project in Barangay Buong Lupa, Gloria.
According to residents, this project started in 2022 and was completed in 2023.
It has an estimated length of 325 meters, but for unidentified reasons, the actual measurement taken by the staff of Provincial Engineering Office was only 186 meters.
In line with this, Gov. Bonz emphasized the importance of having a strong coordination with the local government in the implementation of flood control programs, and these should be aligned with the Flood Mitigation Master Plan of the province to truly benefit the citizens.
