A Technology Forum on Beekeeping Propagation, Promotion, and Marketing was held by the Provincial Government to provide knowledge on modern beekeeping methods to cooperative members from various towns in Oriental Mindoro.
Led by the Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) headed by PCD Officer Orlando B. Tizon, the program featured Ms. Ramona M. Pastor, Proprietor of H and N Organic Farm, as the keynote speaker.
Important strategies for effective care and propagation of bees using modern technology were discussed in the forum, including effective marketing methods for products derived from beekeeping.
The program also aims to assist participants on ways to establish successful connection with stakeholders to support the promotion of local bee-based products.
Through this program advocated by the leadership of Governor Humerlito ‘Bonz’ A. Dolor, it is expected that the beekeeping industry in the communities will be further strengthened, and more citizens will be encouraged to engage in this type of livelihood in Oriental Mindoro.
