Governor Humerlito “Bonz†A. Dolor warmly welcomed the five delegates from the Provincial Employment Services Office (PESO) MIMAROPA, who participated in the three-day celebration of 19th Regional PESO Congress held in the province from 27-29 August.
Led by PESO Oriental Mindoro under the leadership of PESO Manager Antonio M. Magnaye Jr., the celebration was attended by delegates from Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Marinduque, and Romblon.
This gathering aims to tackle the enhancement of employment services and programs for the citizens, and to further strengthen the support and cooperation between PESO and Local Government Units (LGUs) in the region.
Also present were Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) MIMAROPA, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the members of the Federation of MIMAROPA PESO Managers Association Inc., led by President Cindrela S. Palomar.
First Lady Hiyas Govinda Dolor also attended the event along with the Governor.
Several PESO staff from the region were also honored during the program in recognition of their outstanding contributions and commitment to service for over the years.
In his message, the Governor expressed gratitude to PESO for providing a good-quality service, and expressed his support for this event, which he believes is significant to enhance the provision of employment opportunities to citizens in need.
